Easily the best Soundbooth performance I’ve heard so far, and I’ve listened to around ten of their books. Tasteful sound effects and music work together seamlessly with the source material, making an immersive experience reminiscent of the glory days of radio theater. The cast all do a phenomenal job and bring life to the characters far beyond a simple reading.
The story itself is quite fun – a hero sets out to save a dying game by becoming a villain new players will love to hate. The RPG game mechanics add to the story, rather than bogging the listener down with endless explanation of menus and options.
The story wraps up, so no worries about starting yet another series you might never see the end of.
Tons of fun and without a doubt worth a credit.
