I find the idea of a catastrophic event a true possibility and what happens next is a road of 1,000 different destinations. This story line had good characters, and flowed well but got stuck in some very small ideas at times. However was able to get back into the bigger picture. I have read and listened to 100s of these books, as well as zombie apocalypse stories and truly enjoy reading and hearing about the distress human experience. This story did not have anything truly new, but did explore the good and bad of human nature in a way I enjoyed.
