I honestly hate that I wasted a credit on this book. Smith’s books are always hit or miss with me. Sometimes the humor just comes across as cheesy and awkward and that’s what happened here. The heroine was too quirky and happy and bubbly and I wanted to hit her. The hero was just eh. Nothing special. And this book left a lot of blank holes. I’ve read most of S.E. Smith’s books… they are short and fast reads and usually they are on KU so I grab them when I go get my hair done and read. So I kind of know what to expect with Smith’s books and this one kind of falls along the same lines as most. I just hated the heroine more than most.
