I can understand why most people won’t stay with this book, there is so much info, I love it, but also shows you what kind of man this elder is and how much he will do to keep his promises. This isn’t a story of a bright eyed young youth who is making a name for himself, this man has lived and fought wars and lost, magic doesn’t seem to easy in this world a lot can happen and can become corrupted and “unusable”, well after his grandkids are taken from him he will get them back he made a promise, but he is old very old, his magic is corrupted and a mess this will take time but is it worth it can’t wait to binge the rest!!!!
