The Good: You get a lot of book for your buck.
The Bad: When the book is crap, the concept of a lot of extra crap does not make it better. Instead of drama you get melodrama. Characters doing stupid things to create moral outrage to move a story along. No connectivity in the story flow like the Outlaw series. More exposition rather than the story revealing itself. I’ll be returning this one.
Overall: Very disappointed. Loved Outlaws and was excited to find more in the Black Ocean universe, but the personalities bouncing off each other in the Outlaw series does not exist in this book. If you want paper thin or cartoonish characters then you may like this,
