First and foremost I want to mention that the book was good with a few things that just bothered me and really made it hard for me to listen.
First the Ferry was super annoying and I couldn’t help but hate that character. The interactions between the dungeon and his ferry seemed forced and she seemed bipolar switching for this personality to that. Her sexual play with his orb kind of creeped me out a little.
The other issue I had with this audiobook was the weird music they had going in the background during the fight scenes. I think they were going for a Zelda dungeon theme but missed the mark and it was more of a clown theme. Also I think soundbooth did a bad job overall on this production. I normally love how they play their character voices but I just didn’t truly feel it on this one.
Okay with all that I still enjoyed the book and am keeping it in my collection.
