This was a series that started out a bit slow. But by book 2 it was evident why book 1 was very necessary. It set all the back story for the entire series. It had all the action of a spy novel, yet had funny parts in it as well. I enjoyed the author who seemed to have put into each main characters, a meaningful pursuit of redemption thru a relationship with our Maker and Jesus. Not preachy- but very blunt in this novel. But all in all, was truly entertaining. Good job Mr. Goodwin : )
