I absolutely loved Wallace’s novel, Dads vs. Zombies, so I was very excited to read this prequel book with the dads dealing with ordinary mundane problems such as who has the best Halloween display or running errands for your wife at the grocery store. The stories were all funny, but after the incredible adventure in the first book, they also felt rather mundane. So, it’s a fun collection of stories, but it’s not an exciting adventure.
