After listening to this, Tom Abrahams proves he is the best in the business. He truly puts the most creative spin on a CME/EMP survivalist thriller. Who else would think of having the main character Clayton be in space at the time of the CME? And have his journey back to earth coincide with a massive government coverup on a plan to depopulate the earth? Only Abrahams can combine all of these plot points, keep it clean, and throw in the joint story of his family’s journey to both find him. All the while, he’s trying desperately to find them. What every story Abrahams has is heart. If you don’t tear up, or get very close at least once, in every one of his books, and then laugh hysterically, you’re not listening closely enough.

And when paired with Kevin Pierce, the story just takes off like a rocket launcher. He’s able to breath life into the story, to find the emotion and to bring it out in the spoken word. It’s magical every single time. Cannot recommend this enough!
