The characters were believable and the story was engaging.

The story flowed well and the situations were believable and compelling. i enjoyed the pacing of the tale through the 6 books. At times there was a bit too much preaching, especially about gun laws and gender issues. Reader, Kevin Pierce, became the “voice” of these books and it was easy to forget it was being narrated. I enjoyed the quality of his voice.
