This second volume in the Borrowed World Saga picks up the story of Jim Powell and his family. Jim and his coworkers continue their ongoing struggle to reach home, while Jim’s family continue to deal with their own set of growing problems back home. I also liked that Horton picks up the story of the two coworkers that left Jim’s group in favor of the perceived safety of a FEMA camp. The new world is loaded with plenty of brutal action. Really enjoying this series.
Kevin Pierce as always delivers does a great job with the narration. Can’t say enough good things about Pierce. He never disappoints.
