I like these authors as individual storytellers, but this is the book version of “Red Dawn.” Teenagers and all just not set in the 80’s. thank God.
It did give a great sense of patriotism, but they seemed to have fast forwarded through a lot of the action.
I’m glad they gave a shout out to their fanclub.
Side note, there are samples of their individual stories at the end in case you haven’t read one of their books before.
the Narrator sounds like he has sibilant sounds on his S’s. Just a heads up. That’s not a bad thing.
