I couldn’t make it thru one of his earlier works in this genre and decided to give this series a try. While it is better it was a low bar to meet. The ‘Jack’ character and his complete lack of mindset is certainly frustrating, and while I despise perfect ‘Mary Sue/Gary Stu’ characters this Jack fella is VERY slow on the uptake as his new reality unfolds around him. Having said all that you got me for the 3 books so I’ll stick around for the eventual conclusion. If it was anyone but Kevin Pierce narrating I probably wouldn’t have made it this far so please keep him on. Thanks
