The book is more survival nonsense than lrpg. The idea that progress is a straight line. Values like money, fame and resources are trivial despite the whole finite amount problem the moron who wrote this crap fails to even comprehend. That you have great responsibility even when you’re powerless but hey wasting your time, energy aren’t things this self righteous idiot can comprehend. Life is an eternal struggle. It’s not it’s literally not. I don’t have to work anymore but choose to. You can beat the grind but you have to lay down the ground work. The hardest part of my life is the onwe as the French call it. There’s multiple paths out of the suck but you have to build them or you’ll squander it on instant gratification. Look I know optimists can wrap there head around pessimism but it works especially well when life is hard. It’s when thing are easy and don’t require effort that pessimism is worth anything. The story serves the moral. The pacing is fine but the highs and lows aren’t that high or low. The main character is fine. The antagonist while sometimes there didn’t work because is your writing a story centered around a moral or philosophy then what opposes the protagonist needs to represent or show oppositional morals or in a skilled authors hands what failings the moral or philosophy holds. The author can write but I’m not sure it’s worth reading.
