Broken Little Melodies is broken into two parts: Then and Now. In Then we see the start of Roman and Isabelle’s relationship at camp. We watch them grow and thrive together before being broken. Now, five years later, we see how broken they both are. The emotional rollercoasters of both their pasts is dark and traumatic. The twists and turns Jennifer Ann puts them through are insane, terrifying to learn, and heartbreaking. Broken Little Melodies was a great introduction to an author I’ve heard of but haven’t read yet. I loved the musical touch in the audiobook where you get to hear the songs sung. Amazing addition to this audiobook.
