As always Jeff killed it. The RPG part of this LitRPG wasn’t obstructive like it is in some books. Lee’s character sheet is read at the end of every chapter but it isn’t as annoying as I thought it was going to be at the start because the chapters are quite long and since it’s at the end you can just press skip without missing anything else. I skipped it most times since the stats have a pretty low impact on the story. My wish for the next book is for Lee to actually do a bit of crafting, being that he is the Herald of the god of crafts and all. That he didn’t is understandable since he was still getting his footing and things were pretty frantic. Now that things have calmed down he can put some time into it. Can’t wait to see the things he could do actually putting his divine artifact to work.
