I don’t know what it is about this trilogy that hits me just right. Maybe it’s the sci fi aspects like extreme time dilation and void guns or the hard work and dedication aspect of someone spending decades on perfecting just one skill when modern entertainment hands heroes their abilities through luck or circumstance. Or maybe it’s Vincent’s loyalty to his wife’s memory which I’m not even sure I would personally have been strong enough to turn away from as someone who’s lost a loved one too. I’m sad this ended but I’m glad for the experience.
