To be completely honest, I was ending this story feeling kind of “meh” about it. It wasn’t bad. Not at all. But it wasn’t great, either. It felt kind of flowery and a bit forced. BUT the Author’s notes helped me understand where this book came from. And the second Author’s note made me appreciate that flowery feeling more.
