My first book from Ms. Rowe and this story had me captivated. Ellis’ was a bit cruel on how he handled Camilla at the beginning, I felt so sorry for her, a single mom and taking care of her troublemaker sister too. Liam is such a sweet boy.
Camilla and Ellis feel the attraction and despite fighting it, as they got to know each other I like how it slowly develops into more. Looking forward to part 2 and finding out how they fare.
I enjoyed listening to Ms. Wilder’s voice again, with her warm voice that draws the listener in. My first time listening to Mr. Kafer and was falling in love listening to his voice, especially the one he gave Ellis. Each character had its own voice. I will definitely add him to my fave voices to follow.
