This genre of story is very interesting to me and I was excited to hear it based on the reviews. Two things, however, are making it hard for me to finish. One is the narrator. He has this slow talking older man voice the just kind of grinds on and on. Second is the way the story is written. There are too many tedious details that don’t add to the flow of the story. It seems more like a conspiracy theory training book than a novel. Even the more exciting scenes seem slow and drawn out ( maybe in part due to narration). This book might be more interesting to read on good ole paper, but I am struggling to finish it. It’s too bad, I enjoy exciting books written from a Christian perspective.
