When Ember first releases I wasn’t too sure about it. I wanted to see more of my boy Jason and Finn is definitely not him. He’s still an equally wonderful focus for a story.
Travis Bagwell brings these characters to life by giving them real strife and a soul in a way many authors are unable or just haven’t achieve. I feel their pain, I’ve caught misty eyes at times for at least three of them, and I can’t wait to see how they solve their way out of each puzzle. Ember and the books to follow in the Tarot series very much hit the mark just as the original books do. 5/5 Stars.
