I say tame because there’s nothing in it that made my heart pound or feel deeply about. Snack always wanted to date Mini but her brother told him she was off limits in that capacity. Even when they tentatively approached a relationship in their senior year and ended being separated, Snack would not call it an end, but Mini accepted that it was. Fourteen years they lived apart and a tragedy allows them the opportunity to correct what should have been from the beginning.

I didn’t find anything about Snack to call him a strong Alpha, but he was a strong and kind man. I think Mini was too insecure to believe and trust in a relationship with him all those years ago and had to come to grips with the reality of his love matching hers. And the “sleepovers” certainly helped!

Angie Hickman is so talented it was joy to listen to her narrative.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. My review is HONEST.
