Swords, Monks, and , Magic

I found the story to be a bit dry though it had quite a bit of action throughout the story.

The story itself seems to take place in a version of what I think is ancient China. Monks have a power that they can focus into attacks and that makes them dangerous. The magic is never really explained at all and you left wondering how they do what they do and why some are string and some are not.

I was never really hooked by the story, but at the same time it wasn’t awful. I think it’s a decent book.
