the Prologue of this book is a bit rough, but stick with it. After chapter one it gets better.

if you enjoy stories like Sword Art Online, this book is that same basic story. A mysterious GM forces people into a new life where they have to rely on their power and fellow humans to survive. One man’s prior knowledge gives him an unfair advantage that he needs to decide to use for his own benefit or for the good of all.

I’m not a big fan of this author, but this is significantly better than his other works. I genuinely enjoyed listening to this book. there are still a few “Gee… that’s convenient” moments and Deus ex Machinas, but the author has gotten significantly better at using them and being subtle than in previous works.

Justin Thomas James is an amazing Narrator and the cast of this book really brings it to life. Fantastic Production.
