This was a beautiful story about Jayden and Ben. Jayden is a little who doesn’t have a very high sense of self worth and Ben a Daddy looking for a boy to cherish. These two are incredibly sweet with each other and I love how Ben boosts Jayden’s confidence in himself. It’s a bit of a slow burn but very hot between the sheets once it gets there and so worth the wait. Their relationship builds really naturally and I was there for every minute of it. Most of the heavy emotional scenes deal with parts of Jayden or Ben’s past and their relationship is solid. Ben encourages Jayden to be open with communication and this is really important to me.
This is the first time I’ve listed to Piers Ryman narrate a story and he did an amazing job! Lots of emotions behind his words and they felt really natural listing to him. I’ll say it took me a chapter or two to hear the difference in cadence in his voices but once I got it, I could definitely tell the difference.
