I enjoyed this story. As with all of Ms. McIntire’s work, the character development is strong. I am very much looking forward to the next two installments. I liked the performance of both narrators, especially that of the female who handled the southern accent in a way that didn’t make me cringe. Usually actors can’t portray the way some of us southerners can’t help but massage the English language into a silky drawl.
