* It’s terribly sad what happened to Mercy’s dad. Being convicted of a crime he didn’t commit &having to spend 22 years in prison would be terrible! I totally understand her reasoning to help do everything she can to protect her dad.
* Gabriel is the son of a mob boss &says he wants to go legit in his current business but I question if that’s his true intent. Especially with 3 more books to go through.
* The narration was fantastic. That’s the entire reason I picked up this book in the first place. I plan to start to the next book immediately!
