I wanted to love this book but I just didn’t.
I mean I like Mercy but I think she was a little bit weak. Well ok a lot weak I know she was worried about her father and yes he is where he is because of his actions. But she acted too whimper-ish for me.
I liked Gabriel but he was a bit too out there even for me. I mean he was cocky and he has a right to be because he is. But he needed to set up and get his brother on board stop being afraid of his father.
The narration was the best part about this one, Alex was perfect probably why I liked Gabriel so much.
