This was a very sweet and touching story of young love and loss, it will make you laugh, it will make you cry. What could be worse than breaking down on a road trip to fulfill your brother’s mission? Having your brother’s best friend, and your enemy, offer to take you on the road trip with him, if course.
This is my first experience with author Kelsie Steltung and she did an excellent job with this story. While the book is mainly a hate to love story with plenty of humor, the two main characters are also dealing with the death of a loved one. Ms. Sterling gives a realistic view of how people individually deal with death and how grief can rip through family.
Narrator Joyce Oven did a wonderful job telling the story. This is my first exposure to her as well but I look forward to hearing other books narrated by her.
I laughed a lot, I cried a little. I would definitely recommend this book to others!
I was given this audio book at my request and am voluntarily leaving this review.
