This book was a sweet and sexy friends to lovers story. It was so raw, real, and a great audio book listen. Finn is so swoon worthy, and Mallory is a curvy heroine who at times is so hard on herself. Issues from her past, how she was seen, hoe she was treated caused her to have body image issues and struggles in her day to day life. making in hard for her to love herself. i felt for her because she was always putting herself down. She catches Finn’s eye a lumber jack who befriends her and he slowly shows her that there is more to love to her than just how she looks, He’s patient, kind, and so supportive of her and her journey. The banter is so sweet, and sexy. Over time you see her ARC in the book even though she still struggles, but with Finn’s love the struggles become less and less. They go through a roller coaster of emotions. Over all I love that they get their HEA. I cant wait to read the books in the series to get updates. The narrator was excellent. She separated the characters so well and kept me engaged
