I’ve enjoyed listening to the stories in the Jasper Falls series. I feel this one started with an exciting storyline. I loved the concept of nanny and a single dad, age gap, holiday story, but this one dragged on that it isn’t until nearly the last hour of the book that light is shed on Rhett’s rags to riches upbringing.
This was my first time listening to narration by Lucinda Gainey, and though enjoyable, I don’t feel her voice was the right one to tell the story as her voice didn’t fit the character for me.
