I always come back to litrpgs after trudging through all the grim dark that’s out there now, as a palate cleanser for the horrible nihilist after taste. Constant movement in this story which I believe to be an accurate representation of a life in a post apocalyptic world. Nice easter eggs and fuzzy cuts some of the constantly dire tension. I’d imagine everyone would developed a soldier’s sense of humor in a paradigm where friends die everyday yet you keep moving forward and take your laughs and victories where you can get them.
