I found the survival gaming aspect and book in general entertaining escapism. Just what I was in the mood for. There’s some hole’s that one needs to ignore, for instance if the protagonist could kill monsters with a spear, organized military resistance (tanks, etc.) would have decimated them, but that’s OK. I wasn’t looking for realism, just looking for a good story. I’m buying the second audio book.
