It took a moment to get used to the narrator, but I ended up loving it.
The book is kind of broken up into a couple sections based on plot and the book took a little getting used to for the first part, but after the first 5th / quarter I pulled back and realized how much I was enjoying this.
Kyle Kirrin’s twist on the LitRPG plays very well into making the book more readable and giving the plot marks and character development/interaction. I think the main thing that let me settle was that Kyle let his character fail multiple times rather than being an unbeatable champion of everything he sees.
Great listen. Super glad to continually notice how much longer I had in the book as time went on.
Excited for the next one.
