At first glance, I thought I was getting into a fun, light, sci-fi time travel adventure. but it was kind of a bloodbath. I didn’t care for the actor reading it much either, because he has sort of an overly-manly noir style. That being said, however, once I finally got invested in the story, I couldn’t put it down, so to speak. It was dumb and violent, but compelling.
