The main character is a very powerful half-elven wizard, who just wants to be left alone to research in peace. Or so he says. He is constantly getting stuck in political struggles, or finding new threats to defend his countrymen from. All the while, he struggles with loneliness. His being a half elf means everyone he knows dies before him.
The story was entertaining the whole way through. I wouldn’t really call it a “lit RPG.” There is a character sheet, and some vague class progression, however there isn’t focus on leveling. It is more of a traditional fantasy with classes and skills like a game.
