I generally lean toward non-fiction and historical fiction, but I had a code for this and thought I should branch out. Really enjoyed it! The plot moves quickly, and the narrative doesn’t get bogged down in unnecessary detail. Really liked Kafer’s performance, too. But if you’re looking for a psychological horror book that relies on subtle cues, be aware that this is NOT that book. Nothing subtle here!
