The universe woven by Matt Dinniman in this series so far has been one of the best new IP’s I feel I have come across in the Sci Fi, Fantasy space.
It easily exists outside of the LitRPG genre as it brings any reader into the rules of a new universe through the heroes journey. Closer to hard fantasy in its lack of deus ex machina. (Thanks for that Dinniman if you read this)
Gamers, Sci fi and Fantasy friends whom I’ve recommended this two have all asked when the next book comes out, consuming the series before I got a chance to ask them if they liked the first book so far.
R rated by movie standards: Its got gore, violence, cursing, the humor is far from dry and no pulled punches in the range of what can happen.
Audio production and Reader is worth giving it a shot alone.
