Very original idea for an apocalypse. Great reading and voicing in the performance. August is a fairly interesting character with understandable motivations. Poe is absolutely insufferable. Completely helpless all of the time. Scared, confused, directionless. No initiative and a completely non-functioning human even without the events of the novel. Her POV is awful to slog through just to figure out what’s going on.
