The premise of this book sounded so interesting…only it’s almost completely untrue. So much more could have been done with the “eavesdropping”. The description of this book is completely untrue and misleading. Other reviews are completely correct – this is a bad rip off of Steven King’s Misery…and painfully so! I was so frustrated by this book and couldn’t wait to be done. I only finished because I wanted to see if there was any “twist” or anything to make it different (spoiler alert…there isn’t!). And the third narrator was so horrible, I was more than 1/2 way through before I figured out if it was supposed to be a male or female. Nails on a chalkboard would have been easier to listen too.
