Even though the plot is highly implausible, it is still a fun story.

Great funny quote: “the cheerful mushroom cloud was …”

The book starts off with an incredibly stupid statement by the author: “He just hoped that enough of his team survived to force entry and secure the objective.” Jason has never thought like this before, and having such whimsical thoughts about his partners survival is not within his character. This was a blatantly amateurish foreshadowing statement that told me this was a training exercise, even though the author tried to make it appear as real.

You have to love Jason’s new badass armored helmet.

Great funny quote: “Twingo I can’t go any damn slower, I want to be able close the doors before tomorrow. Let’s move it! After another 10 minutes of HAND GESTURES, not all of them necessarily related to the movement of the spacecraft.

Great funny quote: “You know the drill, don’t wake me up unless we are about to die.” Jason says to Lucky.

Another stupid mistake by the author is his amateurish way of using foreshadowing in chapter 10 when he says: “I’ll be back so fast it will seem like I was hardly gone … this is turning out to be easier than I thought.” It was as obvious as when he uses rain and storm clouds to signify something bad is about to happen.

Another mistake is that he said he fired off a couple of ship busters in chapter 14, when in fact he only fired 1. He armed 2 but fired 1. Surprised the author and the publisher did not catch this glaring error.

I really like his usage of “clean us up” which is like saying button down the hatches.

He said he was going to apologize to Lucky for punching him in the face, but he never did.

The author missed a huge opportunity when Jason was letting someone out of jail. He should of ripped the jail door off with his massively strong mech suit. That would have been impressive for the reader and the other character.

The PLOT is incredibly stupid IE when he asks for help in saving a planet and is denied. If Jason only explained that if the enemy gets their hands on what’s on that planet, then the entire galaxy would be at risk of being decimated by a massive weapon. Furthermore, he has a data file called Pandoras Box stored in his artificial memory from the Ancients that contains how to make some of the most destructive weapons the universe has ever seen, yet he choses not to use them.

Chapter 23 has a LOL scene on the bridge when they are discussing how to text Jason’s ex-girlfriend for help.
