If you’ve gotten this far in the series, you know that Gus has a lot of issues. To quote another character, he has the “angsty super act down pat!” In this book, we see him come to terms with his own idealistic dreams and do his best to justify the gifts he has received for the good of the world. With the prior books having fleshed out the world, there are almost none of the info dumps that were hard to deal with in the first book. The cast has grown to include wonderfully colorful and varied characters, and the accents are done excellent on the audio version. Congrats on another great release!
