For me it was a struggle to get through. I think the actual story was decent, however the voices of the two main characters and even some of the side characters were too similar. If it wasn’t stated who was talking. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I do like that for the most part the story had a moving plot with ups and downs and that it didn’t go straight into sex within the first few chapters. it may just be Joel’s voice that ruins the story for me.
Others seem to love it, but this isn’t one I would listen/read again. But form your own opinion maybe you might like it.
