You know that time when you thought you’d just listen to a little bit of an audiobook, just to dip your toes in and get a feel for the story, but end up listening for several hours before forcing yourself to stop in order to be productive. But then you have some extra time and decide to put it on again for just a little while. And then again finding stuff to do so you can listen to it for bit more and then the audiobook is over? Yeah, that was my experience with Shattered by A.K. MacBride. Everything I’ve read/listened to by her has been fantastic and Shattered was no exception. I kept finding things to do so I could continue to listen to Logan and Harper’s story. Harper is strong, a fighter, a survivor. And Logan…I love when big, tough, tattooed hotties turn out to be gentle giants. Logan has a heart of gold and is so great with Flynn. I loved the world of Willow Creek and Shattered is a fantastic first book. Shattered is suspenseful, funny, sweet and emotional. A great story that I, obviously, could not stop listening to.
I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession and Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.
