This is a zombie free post apocalyptic story. That could be good or bad depending on your preferences. The story moves along well and follows several story lines that merge as strangers find each other and join to survive what’s left of the world. Nothing new or unexpected here, but the story is delivered competently with no glaring errors or suspend disbelief moments. People act pretty much as you’d expect with a fair amount of normalcy bias. Overall a good effort with an inevitable sequel.
Narration is done very well by Andrew Tell. I’ll look for more books with his narration.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
