The plot for this series is so well thought-out, which is evident by the way it transitions seamlessly from one book to the next and how all the pieces fit together. I loved learning more about Gary’s and Alice’s trips, while continuing to see how things are shaping up for Jim. The struggles and obstacles of their new world continue, and the story, action and suspense still hold strong, while the characters learn how to navigate it and survive. Kevin Pierce brings the characters to life through his excellent narration. His voice adds to the suspense throughout the book, making one want to finish it in one sitting.
