As an escapist fantasy this does okay. The sense of power scaling in the world varies wildly and there are parts of the power scaling that get comically long winded. The very sudden smashing of different mythologies was quite jarring. The performance from Travis Baldree is very enjoyable, some of the jokes would not have garnered even a chuckle without the fantastic timing.
