Story is fun enough, but the relationship between the Core and the Fairy is toxic. Constant jealousy for no reason and the fairy’s emotions flair any time she doesn’t get her way. I don’t know how many times she cried or flew into a rage with little to no justification, and the Core just does everything the Fairy wants to avoid her emotional backlash. If I didn’t hate their dynamic so much this would be a much more fun read.
