Story still has a whirlwind romance feel, although it is better– a month instead of a week, but still. Also the overall story still oozes misogyny, women are the cooks and caretakers, men are the guards and conveniently the alphas are all gay and only have little girls so they “won’t favor their sons over others” but yet their alpha is a direct descendant of the line, I assume the female line? That isn’t very clear and this is book 2 so I guess it’s never going to be cleared up.
