There’s a LOT of LitRPG out there, but IMO there’s not a lot of GOOD LitRPG out there, and by that I mean stories that actually care about character and plot and not only about the RPG rules on display. I might be a rarity among genre readers, but to me, the rules are secondary to plot and character, and Shadeslinger has both in spades.
